In 1979 when the CENTURY 21® Franchise became available in Maine, Janet and her husband Maurice (Mossey) purchased the franchise and became CENTURY 21 Coughlin Agency. Continuing with the family tradition their Grandson David Coughlin took over the agency in 1996 and ran it until 2007 when he sold it to Shawn Marquis. Shawn changed the name to CENTURY 21 Land & Lakes Realty. Shawn is very happy to say that all of the staff stayed on, some of which have been with the agency nearly 20 years. Shawn's goal is to maintain the great reputation the Agency has been known for and to expand it with the additional agents and the implementation of new technology.
